We’re Alejandro, Adrian, and Miguel — three brothers who grew up trying to beat each other at tennis, badminton, and ping pong. If it had a racquet, we played it.

On a family vacation a few summers ago, someone brought pickleball paddles. We didn’t stop playing for a week. It was the first thing in a long time that pulled us together for hours at a time — three adult brothers laughing at each other’s drop shots.

When we got home, we tried to keep playing. Most paddles felt great for a month and then died. The ones that didn’t cost three hundred dollars. So we did what brothers do — we got obsessed.
